Five Convenient Locations

Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall operates five convenient outpatient service centers, with ample parking, that offer a range of clinical tests. Most results are turned around within the shift they are received and are electronically transmitted to the ordering physician’s office.

The clinical laboratory is staffed by NYSED licensed professionals who have more than 1,200 years of combined experience. The MSLC Laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission, licensed by the New York State Department of Health, accredited by the College of American Pathologists, and widely recognized as setting the ‘gold standard’ for clinical lab services.

Our Pathology service is well-recognized in the state, with the lab being led by Pathologist, Dr. Rakesh K. Abbi.

Accreditations and Recognition

College of American Pathology (CAP)
The College of American Pathology’s Laboratory Accreditation is widely recognized as setting the “gold standard” for laboratory services. The laboratory at the Newburgh campus is accredited by CAP, with recertification required every two years.
