Does the program accept applications outside of ERAS?

No, all applicants must apply through ERAS.

Does the program participate in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP)?

Yes.

Does the program require US clinical experience?

While US clinical experience is preferred, it is not required.

Is there a cut-off for years since graduation?

We prefer applicants who have graduated within the last five years from medical school.

How many positions does the program offer?

We offer 18 Categorical Internal Medicine positions.

What are the USMLE or COMLEX score requirements?

We generally prefer a USMLE Step 2 score of 230 or higher, or a COMLEX score of 450 or higher. However, we do not exclude applicants based solely on test scores. We review the entire application holistically and encourage all interested students to apply. Applicants who signal the program receive priority in the review process.

Does the program accept International Medical Graduates (IMGs)?

Yes.

Does the program accept J-1 visas?

Yes, we accept J-1 visas. All applicants who match with us are responsible for their visa fees. We will assist matched interns with the necessary paperwork through ECFMG.

Do I have to be ECFMG certified?

Yes, you must be either ECFMG certified or certification eligible.

Do you accept J1 visas?

Yes, we accept J1 visas. All applicants who match with us are responsible for all visa fees. We will refer matched interns to the ECFMG regarding all the necessary paperwork.

Do you sponsor H1-b visas?

We offer eight H-1B visas to qualified candidates. To qualify, applicants must have passed USMLE Step 3, with the Score Report available by Match Day. However, we do not guarantee H-1B visas to all qualified candidates.

Does the institution accept Employment Authorization Documents (EADs)?

Yes, we accept EADs.
