MONTEFIORE ST. LUKE’S CORNWALL TO HOST VIRTUAL BREAST CANCER EDUCATION EVENT

Newburgh, NY – October 15, 2020 –In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall (MSLC) is hosting a virtual Breast Cancer Education Seminar on Thursday, October 22 at 5:00 p.m. Led by Dr. Umangi Patel, Medical Director of Oncology Services at MSLC, participants will learn about signs, symptoms, screening processes, and treatments of breast cancer. Also presenting on the panel will be Dr. Veronica Ferencz, Breast Surgeon; Dr. Diana Linetskaya, Plastic Surgeon; and Dr. Shana Coplowitz, Radiation Oncologist. Each MSLC physician will provide important information and answer any questions relating to breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
