St. Luke's Cornwall Health System Foundation Holds 12th Annual Golf Outing
"It was a great day of golfing in the beautiful weather," said John Pelella, Foundation Board Chair. "This was a wonderful event that benefited the great work that St.Luke's Cornwall Hospital does every day. The dollars raised will go to support the ongoing work of keeping our community healthy."
Last Thursday's event featured two flights of golfers. The morning session consisted of a four-person best-ball "scramble" format, while the afternoon foursomes each played their own shots. The day was capped off with a dinner that also included a live auction.
"We could not have asked for a better day, both on and off the course," said Robert S. Ross, SLCH President and CEO. "I would like to thank everyone that made the event such a great success, especially our donors and sponsors. The nationally-recognized patient care at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital would not be possible without their support. I would like to thank the golf committee, led by chair Dr. David Harrison, the staff at Trump National Golf Club, our Foundation staff and volunteers for their hard work and dedication that resulted in a memorable day for everyone."
The event was supported by numerous local businesses. Top sponsors for this year's event included RestorixHealth, Mid-Hudson Anesthesiologists, P.C., The Eagle Insurance Agency, Laborers' Local 17, Mobile Life and Unitex.
